ध्यान और आत्मसाक्षात्कार

ये ध्यान कहाँ चला जाता है

ये ध्यान होता तो तुम्हारा ही है फिर ये कहाँ चला जाता है। तुम सोचते हो कहीं ध्यान लगाने की किंतु ध्यान तो कहीं और ही जा लगता है। क्यों तुम ध्यान से हट जाते हो,भटक जाते हो? ईश्वर कहाँ है? क्या साक्षी को जान पाना संभव है? क्या होता है साक्षी हो जाना? जो देख रहा है वही दिख रहा है, जो बोल रहा है वही सुन रहा है तो फिर मैं कहाँ हूँ? ये कौन है जो बोलता है, जो सुनता है और जो देखता है? ये जो ध्यान है एक तीर की भांति है, जब तुम इस तीर का आदि और अंत दोनों एक साथ देख पाओगे तब तुम्हे साक्षी का अनुभव होगा, और जब तुम्हे इन तीनों का अनुभव एक ही समय में होगा तब तुम उस परम का अनुभव कर पाओगे।

बुद्धि पर अतिशय जोर होने के कारण मानव आक्रान्त है, अपने नियंत्रण के बाहर कुछ हो जाने से। इस कारण, जीवन में जो अर्थवत्ता है - प्रेम, समर्पण, आनंद, ध्यान-इन सभी से वह वंचित है, क्योंकि ये सभी अहंकार के विसर्जन तथा मानव के नियंत्रण के बाहर ही उपलब्ध हैं।
